The Village of Rosemont is developing the Pearl Entertainment District at the southwest corner of I-294 and Balmoral Avenue, across from the highly successful Fashion Outlet Mall. Balmoral has recently been extended west, to connect to Bessy Coleman Drive and the O’Hare terminals. Planning to take advantage of this accessibility, the Pearl Entertainment District will include this hotel, as well as three restaurants and parking.

Results
Rosemont selected Janko Group to develop a boutique hotel on the site and has agreed to donate the land as an economic incentive. The hotel has been designed for 165 rooms, 6,000 SF of high tech meeting space and an engaging first floor bar and gathering area. The design team includes hospitality architect DLR as architect and the Getty’s Group as interior designer. The hotel opened November 15, 2018 and is a Tapestry Collection / Hilton soft brand hotel.
