Pam Johnson

Chief Financial Officer

Pam Johnson is the Chief Financial Officer for Janko Group and has been with the organization since 1999. Overseeing all financial operations of the company, Pam’s responsibilities include feasibility assessments for developments and acquisitions; due diligence; tax and legal advisor oversight; deal closings; financial deal structuring of the ownership and financing of properties; and the firm’s accounting and human resources functions.  As part of these responsibilities, Pam leads the accounting and finance team. She and her team are responsible for financial planning and analysis, investor and lender reporting, debt management and tax functions, risk management and accounting. She also manages the firm’s reporting function critical to meeting the needs of financial institutions and third-party investors.

Previously, Pam spent nine years with Arthur Andersen & Company, in Chicago and London, as an audit manager and consultant to financial institutions. Subsequently, she became an assistant director for County NatWest Investment Bank in London where she was responsible for establishing accounting and control for specialized financial instruments including derivatives.

Pam earned a B.S. in accountancy with honors from the University of Illinois and is a certified public accountant (CPA). Pam and her husband Roderick have been married for more than 35 years and reside in Lake Forest, where they raised their two daughters. Pam served on the Lake Forest Building Review Board and volunteered with various school, community, and educational organizations.
