A 70,000 SF single-story, five-building office complex was being sold by an institutional investor as the last asset in their Chicago portfolio.  The complex was well located adjacent to a major four-way intersection, functional with divisibility to small tenants, and could be acquired for 65% of replacement cost. Janko Group had already closed on a purchase from this investor and earned credibility in the process.

Janko Group moved an affiliated company to the building to promote local ownership and enhance the marketing of the project to other tenants. The project’s strong fundamentals, coupled with focused sponsorship including capital resources, has allowed the project to be successful since acquisition.
